"...Not until seven months thereafter, on July 3, was I able to give my daughter a proper burial. All this time I was running all over the Governmental offices, begging them to give me the body of my daughter so I could bury her according to our customs.
My daughter was eight months pregnant. She died never being able to experience the happiness of maternity. It turned out that all the corpses were buried in the yard of an asphalt factory, not far from the place where we were shelled. They were buried along with the vehicles they were piled in, in some large ditch."
